Tabitha or Dorcas Bulletin Board
One of my mom's students did this bulletin board as well. She used a real t-shirt and made a needle with aluminum foil. The words are made with rope to be like thread, and the border is strips of fabric.
ACTS Bulletin Board
In my mother's Teaching the Bible to Children class at FHU, she has them develop bulletin boards. This was one her student made. I thought it was very creative and original.

Stars in My Crown Bulletin Board
I put this crown bulletin board up one year to help the kids to remember to bring their Bibles to class. Each time they brought their Bible, they got a star sticker on their crown.

Rounding Up Kids for Bible Class
This year in our Bible classroom we decorated the classroom in a Western theme. Thanks to Oriental Trading and my cricut!!!! It was a super cute and fairly easy way to decorate the classroom. The kids (and many adults who have stopped by) love the room.
The door welcomes our class to Bible class.
"Wanted by God" signs on the door are perfect to welcome each child into class.
This bulletin board shows the kids how they are doing with their memory work.
Each barrel has 3-4 books of the Bible on it and, as they learn the books of the Bible,
their horse goes to that barrel.
The Bible Corral is where we round the kids up to hear the Bible story.

A Cozy Quilt for Your Babies
Another cute bulletin board that would be perfect in any nursery or preschool class made by a student in FHU's Teaching the Bible to Children class. Using 12 x 12 pieces of scrapbook paper, pictures of your children and their handprints make this a bulletin board the kids (and parents) will love!
Road Trip Room Theme
Our second grade teachers created this super cute door and bulletin board theme for their class as they began their travels through the Old Testament. The road markers on the door have the different lessons they will be studying on them.
The different signs on the bulletin board have the children's memory work on them. As they say the memory work, their car and be moved to that sign. Super cute and enjoyed by both boys and girls!
Fall into Bible Class
My mom teaches a class at Freed Hardeman called Teaching the Bible to Children. In that class, they create bulletin boards for classrooms. I went and took pictures of some of them since they were so cute and creative! I love seeing other ideas that I can use!

Prayer Chart
We found this idea for teaching children how to pray in Ideashop magazine. We took it and made it our own but the students really like it! We used 3 laminated poster boards to make it. The first poster board was like this:
It emphasized how we begin our prayers - praising God. We would take time for a few weeks and let the students brainstorm words that praise God. We would place them on sentence strips with tape (or you could use Velcro) on the back so they could stick to the poster boards.
The next few weeks we would emphasize thanking God for all the things He has given us. After this, we would spend a few weeks talking about things we need God to help us with.

I don't have a picture of the third poster board but it had our ending - "Be with . . . ." We would take prayer requests from the students and write them on bear faces. We talked about how we are to "Bear" one another's burdens. When a prayer request was answered, we would move it to the "Thank You" section of our prayers.
The last part of the poster board said "I love you! In Jesus' Name, Amen!"
We really enjoyed using this in our classroom and hope it can help you and your students as well.
