Melody Monday: Israel's First Kings

When teaching about the United Kingdom and Saul, David, and Solomon, I use this song to help the children remember:

Israel's First Kings

Israel's first kings, 1-2-3
Were Saul, David, and Solomon.

Were these great men.

Saul was tall, taller than all.
David would keep his father's sheep.
Solomon, David's son, was the wisest man of all.

There's another verse, but I can't remember the part that goes with Saul. David, the king, liked to sing. Solomon, David's son, built the temple in his day.
